Free Weekly Meal/Menu Planner

ChefEvelyn.com Weekly Meal Planner 2013

At the end of 2012 I found myself looking for an easy to use, FREE, blank, weekly menu planner. I found several but some were extremely busy with lots of stuff and I found that some were just too plain.  I wanted something that included a grocery shopping list and blank spaces for meals.

I also wanted something that I would actually use because it was attractive :-) .  With all of those requirements, I decided to create my own and share it with you.

This template has plenty of space for all of your meals throughout the week, you can even write down snack ideas. This is great whether you are planning meals for a family or trying not to eat out and stay healthy.

I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!

Digital Kitchen Scale

Salter Digital Kitchen Scale

I absolute love to BAKE! And with several years of baking under my belt, I have come to the realization that accuracy is key. There is little room for improvisation with baking, (until you really understand the ingredient functions), and a scale is your best friend.

I have also found that the more advanced I become with my cooking, a lot of cookbooks and cooking text books, give recipes (called formulas for baking) in weight measurements instead of volume. I have also seen this cross over to the savory side.

I love cooking with a scale. I know that now matter how much or little I chop, or even how much or little I sift flour, that I will always have the right amount if it is by weight.

For me a kitchen scale is a must have!

Here is the one that I have used for the past 2 years: Salter Kitchen Scale
